RFQ common questions

Before you submit an RFQ

Brief answers help prepare an enquiry without unsupported promises about availability, timing or commercial conditions.

What if the steel grade is not selected yet?

Describe the application, service conditions, product form, approximate dimensions and quantity. The suitable grade is confirmed for the specific application and order.

What should be stated for the surface?

State the intended appearance, finish type, product face, grinding direction, downstream processing and protective-film requirement.

Can a drawing be sent later?

Yes. Start with the available dimensions and application, then add the current drawing or specification when it is ready.

What information is useful for delivery to Russia?

State the city, port or terminal, cargo format, unloading constraints, surface-protection needs and known route stages. Delivery conditions are confirmed per order.

When should document and acceptance requirements be shared?

Document, identification, inspection and acceptance requirements should be stated before a specific offer is prepared.

Are conditions fixed after the first enquiry?

No. Material, dimensions, availability, documents, packing, timing and commercial conditions are confirmed only after the specific enquiry is reviewed.
